Yes you can! We conducted extensive testing to insure that all native features of
your Messenger application can be used while Yes. We encourage you to do so to help you understand your buddy when he/she speaks in a language you're not fluent in. Since you can display both untranslated and translated text, having your buddy type a message in his/her language will both help you determine what he/she is saying in addition to giving you an interpretation in your own language. The interactivity of this can help you to learn a new language. Right now we support translations between French, Spanish, and English. We're working to add additional languages as quickly as we can. Please check back often to see the languages we support, which are listed across the top of the web page. After you have installed the software, establish a chat session with your buddy, then use the desktop (or Start menu) icon the installer has provided. You and your buddy can start using the application immediately. The proper translation software will be automatically downloaded to your computer. For use with Yahoo Messenger, while the beta test is active, you and your pen-pal buddy will both need to install thehttp://www.im-translate.com
